The RTD DT Fiber Light Post is a genuine French-made fiber post system with an elastic modulus close to dentin, designed to reinforce endodontically treated teeth while reducing the risk of root fracture.
Clinical Uses
- Post-and-core build-ups for endodontically treated teeth prior to crown restoration
- Cases where dentin-like flexibility is preferred over rigid metal posts, to help prevent root fracture
- Used with the matching RTD Light Post finishing drill for a precise canal-to-post fit

- Elastic modulus of 15 GPa, close to dentin, for mechanical compatibility with tooth structure
- Patented X-RO fibers for high strength, fatigue resistance, and radiopacity (340% of aluminium)
- Fiber-reinforced composite construction that cannot corrode and has passed biologic safety testing
- Double-tapered (DT) apical section conserves dentin
- Parallel coronal section for maximum strength in the cervical and restorative zones
